Is your dress or suits tailored? Sometimes, we cannot choose even one piece of clothes after shopping, and then, we will ask for customizing clothes for ourselves. On this occasion, how should we communicate with the designer? Today, let’s learn some expressions about the topic of customizing clothes.

1. 请问可以订做衣服吗？
(Excuse me, do you provide tailor-made clothes?)

nǐ xiǎnɡ zuò shén me yànɡ de yī fu？
2. 你想做什么样的衣服？
(What kind of clothes do you want?)

wǒ zì jǐ dài le yì běn zá zhì， nǐ kě yǐ bānɡ wǒ zhào zá zhì shànɡ de zhè ɡe kuǎn shì zuò mɑ？
3. 我自己带了一本杂志，你可以帮我照杂志上的这个款式做吗？
(I bring a magazine here, can you tailor clothes according to this style?)

zhè ɡe kuǎn shì nǐ men kě yǐ zuò mɑ？

(Can you make it as this style?)

qǐnɡ xiān zài zhè biān tiāo xuǎn yí xià bù liào。
5. 请先在这边挑选一下布料。
(Please choose the fabric firstly.)

zhè xiē dōu shì xīn liào zi mɑ？
6. 这些都是新料子吗？
(Are these new fabrics?)

zhè pǐ bù liào hái yǒu bié de yán sè mɑ？

bù liào yán sè tài duō le ， wǒ yě bù zhī dào xuǎn nǎ ɡè hǎo。

(There are lots of colors, I don’t know choose what kind of fabric.)

wǒ jué de zhè jǐ ɡè yán sè dōu hěn shì hé nǐ。
9. 我觉得这几个颜色都很适合你。
(I think these kinds of color suit you well.)

wǒ xǐ huɑn chún mián de。
10. 我喜欢纯棉的。
(I like pure cotton.)

wǒ bānɡ nǐ liánɡ yí xià chǐ cùn bɑ！
11. 我帮你量一下尺寸吧！
(Let me take your measurements.)

nǐ pí fū hěn hǎo ， chuān zhè ɡe yán sè huì hěn piào liɑnɡ de。
12. 你皮肤很好，穿这个颜色会很漂亮的。
(You have nice skin, so you look good in this color.)

nǐ men zuò yī fu yì bān xū yào duō chánɡ shí jiān？
13. 你们做衣服一般需要多长时间？
(How long will it take for tailoring?)

nǐ kě yǐ yí ɡè xīnɡ qī yǐ hòu xiān ɡuò lái shì yi shì ， rú ɡuǒ bù hé shì hái kě yǐ ɡǎi。
14. 你可以一个星期以后先过来试一试，如果不合适还可以改。
(You can come to take on it after a week. We can alter it if it’s not suitable.)

15. 如果不合适改的话，要收费吗？
(Would it be charged if it needs altering?)

fànɡ xīn bɑ ！ wǒ men kě yǐ miǎn fèi bānɡ nǐ ɡǎi。

(Take it easy! We will alter it for free.)

ɡǎi hǎo yǐ hòu kě yǐ zhí jiē kuài dì ɡěi wǒ mɑ？
17. 改好以后可以直接快递给我吗？
(Can you delivery it for me after it altered?)

wǒ kě yǐ ɡào su nǐ wǒ de dì zhǐ yǐ jí lián xì fānɡ shì。
18. 我可以告诉你我的地址以及联系方式。
(I can tell you my address and contact ways.)

shànɡ shēn ɡǎn jué yǒu diǎn jǐn ， hái kě yǐ zài fànɡ dà yī diǎn mɑ？
19. 上身感觉有点紧，还可以再放大一点吗？
(It’s too tight for my upper body. Can it be bigger size?)

zhè tiáo kù zi chánɡ duǎn zhènɡ hǎo ， dàn shì yāo zhè lǐ yǒu diǎn féi。
20. 这条裤子长短正好，但是腰这里有点肥。
(The pants suit me with right length. But the waistline is a bit fat.)
